David’s confidence in God is rock solid
David’s confidence is built on his special relationship with God and his own righteousness.
This is not really our song; it’s Jesus’ song.
But we can share in this song through Jesus.
5 ways Jesus makes th is our song…
- The LORD’s word is flawless (Jesus is God’s word/ promise to us)
- God shields all who take refuge in him (Jesus is our shield)
- Remaining faithful to God will never disappoint (Jesus will return for us)
- We too can be confident that God is on our side (Jesus proves this)
